Alexander Acosta is a photojournalist and portrait photographer
based in Atlanta. He is a graduate of Florida A&M University with
a Bachelor's degree in photography. His work has been featured
in publications across the country and exhibited in Atlanta
and New York City.
Alex's personal work currently focuses on social issues and
African-American male identity. Acosta is the founder of Soul Food Cypher, an organization that utilizes the craft of freestyle rap and lyricism to transform lives and communities.
Alex's clients include: Atlanta Journal Constitution, USA Today,
News-Press, Creative Loafing, and Transition Magazine.
