Perspective and Scale: Using the Transform tools to adjust size, angle, and perspective, ensuring that everything works toward your vision. Giant trees, small buildings. Large baby.
Lighting and Shadows: Mimic the lighting conditions in the different source images. Add shadows and highlights to elements in your composite to make them appear more realistic and integrated. Dark to light, create shadows.
Color Grading: Adjusting the overall color tone, saturation, and contrast to create a cohesive look. Emotional lighting.
Blend Modes: Overlay, Multiply, and Screen are commonly used for compositing to blend layers in different ways
Foreground and Background Integration: Use atmospheric effects like fog or blur to create depth and make the composite look more natural
Using Text: Incorporate text with masks and effects
GENERATIVE FILL: New AI tool to create elements from text prompts. Generative expand, remove, generative layers, nondestructive.
This workshop does not require Photoshop to follow along at the time of the lesson. The entire workshop will be recorded, the recording and subsequent files will be sent out the day after the workshop for you to follow along at home on your own time.
