Dance Photography at TADA

Join the professionals of The Atlanta Dance Academy and ASoP Director, Sara Keith, for this unique photography experience. Capture the magic of dance at TADA's dance studio, located close by the ASoP Atlanta campus. Photographers and dancers will be working together to achieve some striking images.

We'll explore many different techniques and tricks including:

Lighting and proper exposure
- In controlled and uncontrolled environments
Controlling motion
Slow shutter speed experimentation
Comoposition
Shooting in the studio vs Shooting on stage
Incorporating portrait aspects to dance photography
& more

The vision of TADA is to celebrate finding the joy in movement with a fun, healthy and collaborative energy for all that have a passion or interest in dance and fitness excellence. TADA aims to create a quality studio experience that bows to the benefits of dance - confidence and expression, true body connection, and the learning process of creative arts – and to break down the barriers that are often present in more traditional schools of dance education.

Students are asked to bring their camera, a variety of lenses and an external flash if they have one. Students are also asked to share final images with TADA and the dancers. The TADA Dance Studio is located at 2335 Cheshire Bridge Rd NE, Atlanta, GA 30324, USA.

As this is an indoor workshop, masks are required.

Recommended prerequisites:

Photo 1 & Photo 2 (4 Week class or Express)

Required Materials:

Registered students will be asked to their camera and a telephoto lens.
