David Allen Jones

David spent the majority of the last 10 years teaching photography courses – from the most basic of camera instructions to graduate level course on photo philosophy. Specializing in image manipulation and compositing, he received his MFA in photography from the Savannah College of Art and Design in 2008.

He’s always considered himself a photoshop guru, a ninja, or some kind of mystic wizard with image editing super powers. For his own work, he tries to create imagery that borrows more from graphic novel’s than the likes of photo modernists.  To David, seeing the image that hasn’t been taken or hasn’t been built is the most satisfying characteristic of photography.

When not working on photography he’s either looking at maps, cooking, or talking about football.
