Nature Photography Evening at Stone Mountain

Stone Mountain is one of Georgia’s greatest nature locations offering many possibilities for nature photographers. It’s many diverse habitats - forests, open fields, rock outcrops and, of course, the mountain make it unique and challenging for all types of nature photography. Join Nature Photographer Larry Winslett for an evening of exploring some of these possibilities in the park, starting in the songbird habitat for tips on Macro and Wildlife Photography. Later we will move to the lake area for some Landscape and Sunset shooting. This is also the time of year when the Park’s famous Yellow Daisies should be in bloom, so we will definitely be looking into that as well.

What to bring: Your camera equipment plus tripod. Sturdy shoes for light hiking, bug spray, hat and sunscreen are also advisable. Bring water and snacks.
