Night Photography, Lenses, Light Painting and Manual Mode
Our intermediate photography class at Atlanta School of Photography offers budding shutterbugs the opportunity to take their skills to the next level. In this four week course, students delve deeper into the intricacies of manual mode, one of the essential pillars of photography. Through hands-on exercises and comprehensive instruction, participants learn to confidently control aperture, shutter speed, and ISO to create stunning images with precision and creative intent.
Moreover, the intermediate class focuses on unveiling the secrets of lenses. Students explore the distinct characteristics and functions of various lenses, such as wide-angle, telephoto, and prime lenses. They learn how to choose the right lens for specific subjects and photographic styles, enhancing their ability to capture visual narratives and evoke emotions in their imagery.
As darkness descends, the class takes an illuminating turn towards night photography. Students are guided through the nuances of capturing stunning images in low-light conditions. They discover the magic of long exposures, painting with light, and mastering techniques to capture the captivating essence of cityscapes, architecture, and landscapes after the sun sets.
Under the tutelage of experienced instructors and through constructive weekly homework review, participants refine their technical skills, expand their creative vision, and gain the confidence needed to tackle real-world photographic challenges. By the end of this intermediate photography class, students emerge as well-rounded photographers, equipped with the knowledge and expertise to excel in the art of manual mode photography, lens selection, and the captivating realm of night photography.
