with Sara

Join Sara on a photographic adventure around her old stomping grounds!

Sara attended the Savannah College of Art and Design, lived in the historic district of Savannah for almost 5 years and has visited family who have lived in the low country for decades. She is absolutely thrilled to return with a small group of students looking for a unique photography weekend. We’ll explore all parts of the city, from beautiful Forsyth park, to the iconic Wormsloe trees, down to Tybee Island, venture across the river, and probably to an impromptu bar crawl!

Lodging and travel are not included. Students are expected to reserve their hotel or AirBnB stay in advance and have reliable transportation during the workshop. Once arrived in Savannah, carpool opportunities can be discusses to the photography locations, but there will be no transportation provided to and from Savannah.

Sara’s Recommendations for places to stay:

I recommend finding a place in the Historic District, north of Forsyth Park. This will be easiest for parking and walking around the city to get the full Savannah experience. However, you’re welcome to stay anywhere in the city and I can make recommendations for daily parking.
