Atlanta School of Videography is pleased to present Tequoia Urbina, an award-winning screenwriter and filmmaker, for a illuminating panel discussion essential for all video creators and filmmakers alike. We’ll discuss the importance of one of the most overlooked stages of creating a video, screenwriting. Hear how screenwriting can you help you plan and execute your next project form one of the best in the industry.

Tequoia Urbina is a graduate of Georgia State University and Northeastern University. Tequoia has over 25 years of experience in TV and film and dedicates her craft to creating thought-provoking and entertaining content. Her short film, Gehenna, has won Best Short Film in the Tech Jxn Film Festival and Best Female Filmmaker award in Venice Shorts.

Tequoia is a board member of the Pembroke Taparelli Arts and Film Festival.

Her most recent script "The Deacon", was recently optioned by Sweden based production company, Arvet Agency. She is committed to creating characters and opportunities for women and people of color. Tequoia understands that representation matters and strives to reflect that in each of her projects.
