During this workshop, participants will receive expert guidance from our resident nature photography instructor, Larry Winslett, to explore the Atlanta Botanical Gardens newest Campus just outside Gainesville, Ga.

There are many wonderful plantings and unique exhibits to explore for photographers. In addition there are some very nice nature trails to explore. This will be a great introduction to this destination. There will be plenty of opportunity to practice your nature photography, especially making great Flower, Close-up and Macro images.


Whether you're a beginner or an experienced photographer, this workshop promises to enrich your understanding of composition, lighting, and macro photography.

What do I need for this workshop?

For this workshop Macro and/or telephoto lenses (200-300mm) will be ideal.  A tripod may be helpful but not necessary.
